Hulme Hall Road

Hulme Hall Road

Construction of 4 New Build Townhouses with associated car parking and landscaping. This development was constructed on part of the site of the old railway station.

Building in a Conservation area meant that many planning conditions had to be met, to maintain the flavour of the area. These included high performance vertical sash timber windows; cast iron gutters and downspouts and many other items. The development was immediately adjacent to the main railway line. Severe acoustic restrictions were placed on the build specification, including acoustic fencing, sound proof windows and doors. Our boundary abutted the high speed Manchester to London railway line. We were bound by and had to comply with the highly stringent safety requirements of Network Rail.
